About Me
-
I’m warm, informal, easy going and nurturing, but also gently direct and pragmatic. I’ve been in private practice for over 20 years and 10,000 hours. I love creating a space where we can have meaningful good quality conversations.
What motivates me is being a catalyst in the growth and development of others.
Whether it be as a therapist, as a coach, or in any of my professional roles, I’m happiest when I can help my clients find what they need for their situation. You will meet Bobo if you come to see me. We live with one foot in central Brighton, and the other with my partner in the quiet folds of the South Downs.

Over the last 20 or so years I have been in private practice as a therapist and have completed well over 10,000 hours in this profession. For slightly longer than that I have also worked with businesses of all sizes to help them with leadership, entrepreneurialism, having better conversations and working through challenging situations.
I grew up in hotels and restaurant family businesses. I worked as a draftsman and in business relationships in pocket computing in 1980’s London working for tech pioneers Psion. This took me to San Francisco and Silicon Valley for much of the 90’s where I ran divisions for Psion and latterly Palm/3Com. I’ve been involved in almost every aspect of tech product companies but mainly strategic alliances. In the early noughties I trained as a therapist and a coach, which I still am and I still love.
I’ve also worked in the antiques trade antiques and as a handyman while I was training. In 2010 I founded a company working in business culture with my business partner.

I trained as an Insights Discovery Licensed Practitioner 2016 and use it constantly in my work.
I qualified with a PG Cert in Psychedelics (Mind, Medicine and Culture) from Exeter University in 2025
I have over the years continued to broaden my skills by attending courses or workshops around a vast number of subjects such as trauma and suicide among many others. Even with my long experience, every day is still a school day.
